Students Transfer Rules
Regulations for Iranian Students Studying Abroad Who Want to Transfer to University of Science and Culture (USC)
A) Transferring General Conditions
1- The origin institute should be accredited and approved by the Ministry of Sciences, Research and Technology’s Education Administration Office.
Note: If the university is approved by the Ministry of Education of the origin country, transfer to USC is only permitted for Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees.
2- The student should not have any legal restriction for continuing education or military service.
3- Having certificate of previous level degrees that are approved by authorized centers.
4- Not have been out of school for more than one year at the time of application.
5- Having 12-year high school diploma, pre-university or equivalent that is approved by Ministry of Education for applicants who want to study in Associate and Bachelor level.
B) Transferring Specific Conditions
1- For Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees: passing at least 12 units of major courses with at least a total average grade of 13 out of 20 or equivalent.
2- For discontinuous Master’s degree: passing at least 6 units of courses (except compensatory units) with at least a total average grade of 15 out of 20 or equivalent.
